How the Dental Bridge is Performed
The dental bridge procedure is usually performed in three office visits. On the first visit, the adjacent teeth are prepared for the crown. We will need to remove some tooth enamel from adjacent teeth to accommodate the crown. The teeth will be reshaped and we will make an impression of the area to create a custom bridge. You will be fitted with a temporary bridge while the permanent bridge is being made.
Benefits of Dental Bridges
Getting a dental bridge offers many benefits to the patient and may be the best option for patients who have healthy teeth and gums but are missing a single tooth. The bridge prevents surrounding teeth from drifting in to the space where the tooth is missing and provides both functional and aesthetic benefits.
